I am a Pretty curious guy sometimes, Have you ever wondered why in the Bible, Guys like David inquired of the Lord and in the next sentence , God Answered him. Like in I Samuel 30 verse 8, There are Lots of them. Find them, This Is what is meant, "SEEK Him AND YOU WILL FIND HIM" Anyway I wanted to see if this was really true, FIRST you have to be DETERMINED, to SEEK him, NOT QUITTING,BUT DETERMINED, I went and found so many things, I found where God says "There's nothing I can't do" God is Truly AWESOME, I have now many true stories, 'My Heart", "Geese" Several stories on them, but in AWESOME GOD-Lessons I've Learned, I found him, and it is truly amazing, He will meet your needs, He is the most awesome Friend you can have, Period !!

THE BIRD
There' two things I really enjoy doing. One walking in the woods and two, feeding and watching the birds in our yard, red birds, blue birds, etc.
I know this will sound silly, But I wish I could talk to the birds and they talk back-- HA -- that would be an awesome thing, I would love to know what they do, ( during a storm, or snow etc. )
Well one day as I was coming out the door into the front yard, a red bird was feeding at one of our many feeders, I just really begged God to let me hold one ( Please God, I wished I could just hold one and let them know, I wouldn't hurt them.) This was on a Thursday, ( Thursday before mothers day ) This has been 5 years ago-- 2001--. My favorite birds are the geese, ( I have a special thing with God on these -- another chapter ) You'll see God doesn't always act right then, BUT JUST KEEP TALKING TO HIM-- Friday, Saturday, went buy, I wasn't expecting to ever hold one, But god knew in my heart I wanted to, mothers day about 7.00 sunday morning, I went out to feed my gold fish, as I was walking threw the arch way going into my fish garden, something hit into the honeysuckle vine going all over the arch way, It hit about waist high in the honeysuckle, I looked and saw that it was a beautiful little bird, My first thought was that it was hurt, ( landing so close to me about arms length from me ), Then all of a sudden, it flew and landed on my foot, I stood their dumbfounded , I thought it had a broken wing-- But it acted like I was its mother, then I reached down, and it climbed into my hands, I petted it just for a second, Then it flew off as fast as it came, it was gone, THEN IT HIT ME, IT WASN'T HURT, THE HOLY SPIRIT LET ME KNOW, I Got to hold my bird !!! I stood their just, wanting to cry, First , that God let me hold a bird, in the wild, Second, That he cared for me so much, THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, STOPPED EVERYTHING ,and cared for me. I'm not special, I'M JUST A PLUMBER, SEEK HIM, AND YOU WILL FIND HIM !!!

The Little purple flowers and The One foot Of land
This is one of my favorite stories.
In my yard, in the spring , are some little purple flowers about the size of an pencil eraser head. and they blanket the whole back yard. One day walking in my yard and through the small flowers, I just asked god, why he made such little flowers, So many, and I remember mentioning to him to that I bet very few people even look at them. Bending down and picking them and looking at them like you would a daffodil,or rose etc. Seemed like a waste of time of making them. ( I know its a little thing to talk to God about) But I've trained myself to talk to God about everything. Just like I would a friend. You know what I'm talking about. This way , I'm talking to him a lot. ha You would be amazed what he does. ( The God of the universe) amazing. well As I'm talking to him the Flowers and questioning him. I remember telling him that nobody see them, (we live on a major 5 lane highway,goes in front of my house,and I told him that none of those people see these flowers or fact is, not any other humans)As I was walking along,The Holy Spirit really impresses upon me. in a great way. to just stop and bend down and look at a small piece of my yard about one foot to be exact . and watch it for 30 min.or so. so I did.
In that time I saw a spider jump on a small bug, a ant, a beetle,
Then something happened that I will always remember,The Holy Spirit, impressed upon me, that although "none" of those people or anybody else sees those flowers, HE DID, He saw ALL that Life, the spider, the small bug, the ant, the beetle, All has life and he sees all, and cares for them. But that I (me,Larry) was more important than those. He cares about me. Oh an AWESOME feeling.
Just Think, if he impresses upon me these things, then why can't I believe he's there in time of need, or problems, Just don't panic. JUST BELIEVE. Nothing or NO-ONE can convince me different, Why?? Because I have been the recipient of his responses. Just like if you asked lazarus about being raised from the dead, He would know and you couldn't convince him different. Get to know him, talk to him, study his word, He will act upon his word. May God Bless you.
Please don't think or let the devil , tell you that I'm bragging on myself. Because I'm not. I'm bragging on God, The Holy spirit and Jesus.
